If everyone is talking, you hear nothing. If everyone is silent, you can hear it all.
Cold tears are falling
A white blanket covers me tonight
Sometimes I need to run
So many times I want to hide
Feeling like a tiny ant in a forest of giants
It's so easy for me to get stepped on
But my cry of for help is lost in the cool breeze of the forgotten
If what doesn't kill you is supposed to make you stronger
Why am I so slandered, dropped, and beaten down?
Sick of being silenced
Sick of being pushed around
Watch your back 'cause some day Ima take a stand
No, I know you don't understand
So go ahead and tell me you know how I feel
Do you really?
Yeah, didn't think so
Take my money
And take my time
But don't think for a minute Ima let you in my mind
There's no way you can take away my pain
No way I'm going to let you see just who it is exactly that I can be
Criss-cross marks on my skin
Burning through me
I refuse to let you in
