What if the ode was to thou ... who battles to win, his head over heart?
In realms of midnight ink, their quest began,
A poet's touch where dreams in silence span.
In hearts and minds, they eternally claim,
Their words a beacon, through the night they man.

A cadence wrought in sorrow's melody,
Their verses flowed, a river to the sea.
In hearts and minds, they eternally claim,
A light for those bound, yearning to be free.

Through gardens lush, their whispered spirits dance,
Legacy cloaked in time's eternal trance.
In hearts and minds, they eternally claim,
In library corners, their echoes prance.

Where tales of old with wisdom do unfold,
Each book a gate to mysteries untold.
In hearts and minds, they eternally claim,
A stardust path, in the cosmos scrolled.

Their ink, a balm for souls in quiet despair,
Each line a masterpiece beyond compare.
In hearts and minds, they eternally claim,
A flame that flickers, in the cool night air.

On parchment plains, their spirits find a home,
Lost yet within their verse, they freely roam.
In hearts and minds, they eternally claim,
In time's vast tapestry, their poem a tome.

Beneath the gaze of moon's insightful eye,
Grief for a voice that in the dawn, did die.
In hearts and minds, they eternally claim,
Their melody lingers on, never shy.
