Reader gets to understand the loss of a love reminder.
10 : 45

It’s a quarter of eleven
I remember how it use to be
Every day I‘d call her up
Right now and again at three

“Hello handsome, how ya doin?”
How I loved to hear those words
The same old line every time,
But it was the sweetest thing I’d heard

Every time I’d call her up
She’d always answer with a smile
How’d she know it was always me
Guess it was just her style

Then one day the phone just rang
Oh, she’s likely gone to lunch
I’ll call her later on today
Or she was shopping, was my hunch

It turns out that day the angels came
And lifted her heart up to heaven
I‘ll miss that call I use to make
Every day at a
Quarter of eleven.
