934 A.D. - Arthur, King of the Britons, has just returned home from an epic, ill-fated quest to find the Holy Grail. He faced a great many foes and lost many brave men (and some minstrels), and in the end, all was for naught. So, he, along with Sir Bedivere and Sir Lancelot, embarked on a long journey back home to his beautiful court at Camelot. Pleased though he was to find that his beloved Camelot was no longer a silly place, his happiness was short-lived. For a new prospective knight had emerged, a young lad named William, and Arthur had not the energy to partake in the painstaking process of testing the boy. Instead, Arthur devised a simple, cruel method of challenging his competence...
