I'm not one for love poems, but this is an exception--I guess I feel sentimental today.
Midnight sky:

A million stars suspended in the black canopy.
The moon, its rays like luminous tendrils
Shining through the dark.

Beneath this,
The radiant canvas of the night,
We make love.

Our souls intertwine,
Two halves of the same spiritual whole.
In this endless flux of cosmic energy
We become one.
