A tribute to Pablo Neruda's style of short rhetorical questions as poetry

Does the ink miss the pen,
When its fate is sealed upon the page?

Can a man be both a pawn among pawns,
and a King among checker pieces?

What is height,
without the threat of falling?

Are evergreens better parents,
Since they don't drop their children in winter?

If each emotion had a sound,
would love be a symphony?
