A tactile journey through the inner dark. "I scream defiance into an uncaring wind."
I'm dying for a change. Dying because I can't seem to change.
From Darkness to greater Blackness,
I scream defiance into an uncaring wind.
I cry out, cry tears from a heart running dry.

[Withdraw.]

I coil in upon myself, shift to the world in my mind.
There is too much pain living within my body; with my heart.
My will sinks in to a dark and silent sea.
I dig with bloody hands
a hole in which I hide.
In the void, there is a numbing of anguish,
A distancing between pain of soul and conscious waking thought.

[Drown here, submerge in to the moonlit pool.]

A hidden place, secreted away from reality.
The suffering seems to fade, but it just goes on without me sensing it (for now).

The star-shone sea crashes home, washes upon the shore and leaves me there,
leaves me with the pain.
Breathless, gasping for feeling,
clawing at the darkness stuck within.
But it is too late, I am back to reality,
and the Night comes with me.
