| I write because I need to express this wonderful, powerful, spiritual charge that I've always felt. I write because my core essence, my creativity, would suffer if I did not. Although I've been writing since I was very young, I only shared my poetry a few times in school. The great majority was written then lost, but I'd never call it a waste. To me if it needs to be shown to others to be felt, I have wasted my time. I learn and feel what I need to for myself in each poem or story. |
