The troubles in America are a lot to bear...
I did nothing,
She did it herself.
Same thing different faces,
Every single night.

I once stood beside the boy,
the one with the gun.
He's in jail now,
Because of a hot-headed fight.

The young children's mother-
Their only support,
Is out of sight nightly,
Getting stoned in someone's basement.

The low-life murderer-
That sorrowful man-
Killed the one he loved,
With his own two hands.

The nation we live in,
Is extremely messed up.
We put ourselves in these rough situations,
But cannot get out of them.
