Her heart breaks

She hears the words

Her life is gone

Her life shattered

His mind wonders

His heart hurts

He wants to understand

He wants to fix it all

She tries to leave

He pulls her close

She cries alone

He hears and tries to help

The painful cry hurts his ears

To see and hear her this way

She calls out in the night

And to her all is lost

He wishes

He hopes

How can he help his precious little girl

His beautiful daughter

His hearts delight

Broken in two

How can he help His little girl

He cries and tries to help but only his existance will do
