Just learnt about this poetry form at WDC. Thought I'd give it a try...
Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow




Tomorrow and Yesterday are but shadows of Time,

It is just the Present that matters the most,

In Today must we live, act and mime,

Tomorrow and Yesterday are but shadows of Time.



Moments tick by as slippery as slime,

Of mastery over them no one can boast.

Tomorrow and Yesterday are only shadows of Time

It is just the Present that matters the most.




Triolet:

(The triolet is an old French form that is short and witty or more traditionally romantic. It has 8 lines in the rhyming scheme abaaabab. The first two lines (ab) and the last two lines (ab) are the same, as well as the first line and the fourth.)
