How a young boy copes with the death of a loved one
Where’s my sister? Tony asks;
He’s unsure what to think.
No, really, tell me honestly!
His tears barely remain on the brink.

What’s that? Speak up!
She’s gone away, you say?
I’m not to sure what that means;
And is the floor supposed to sway?

When will she be back?
How can you not know?
If you aren’t going to find her
Then I guess I’ll have to go.

Why are the police here,
I did nothing wrong!
I just wanted to find Lily;
She’s been gone for too long.

This is nonsense,
Only old people die!
You don’t speak the truth!
This is nothing but a lie.

I still don’t quite understand,
How can this be?
I should be gone,
Not my poor sister, Lily.
