The sad truth about the life of a drunk, and how their is help.
Stinky, worthless, piece of junk
That is what you call a drunk
Our hair is disheveled and our breath is sour
And it’s been a while since we’ve had a shower

Our words are slurred, and we don’t walk strait
And we make a really awful date
Drunks on the street? Their lives are through!
FOR GOD’S SAKE DON’T TOUCH THEM—or you’ll get it too

Don’t make a joke, or snide, or sneer
Because our numbers grow every year
We wreak our cars, and get DUI’s
Sometimes at the cost of lives

We lie, cheat, and steal simply because
We’ll do anything to get our next buzz
Where do the lies stop and the truth begin?
Please don’t believe us—we’ll do it again

We spit venom posed to attack
And aren’t they dumb when they come back
I’ll tear up your household and not even blink
I’ll rip your heart open—just hand me a drink!

We’re lushes and drunks, boozers and bums
Please don’t laugh, at what I’ve become
What are you saying? That isn’t me!
Look at that guy! He’s way worse than me

You’ve never done any of that I bet
At least, you’ve never done it
Yet
You look pretty bad, you’re shaking you know
And you hit rock bottom a while ago

When was the last time you looked at yourself?
Maybe it’s time that you got some help
Pick up the phone because we’re always here
Were Alcoholics Anonymous, and we’ll always care
