Poem about me
a little girl, a fragile thing

who still remembers being insignificant

a toy, a pawn, a rubber band

that smacks the hand that used it.

Just call me Cheri.

I’ve named myself, I've earned the right

I am as insecure as a toothpick ladder

I am a giving, loving, laughing, carefree person

wrapped in a pretty package

I can dream up a whole new world

Where I am perfect.
