Malevolent and still, the essence of calm, all of the while, plotting his harm
Cute? Cuddly? Mine's not that type,
Mine IS popular but not worth the hype.
Of course ALL celebrities have one,
It usually appears when their 'star dust' has gone.

Cynics say it's something to hide behind,
'A handy catchphrase to shelter the mind'.
A 'good talk' will soon put them right,
Well, that's one way to start up a fight!

Of course, there are those that say it doesn't exist,
A figment created by someone who's pissed,
And not just with life, if you know what i mean.
I find that unfair, and slightly obscene.

Mine's real, I see it sitting there,
Staring at me as mean as a bear.
Malevolent and still, the essence of calm,
All of the while, plotting his harm.

When he attacks he doesn't let go,
He savours my pain like a carnival show.
Only resting when he's feasted on blood,
Respite is brief...but it's good.

I run away as fast as I can,
For a while I'm an ordinary man.
Free from his chains and his whip,
Free from his teeth and iron like grip.

But I know it won't last,
Experience has shown in my past,
He loves his obsession;
My...bone deep depression
