A poem about a saddened young man remembering his long lost love in Barcelona...
Barcelona

I can still feel your soft embrace

And hear your sweet tone

I can still see your hair across your face

My how you have grown

I can still see your crimson smile

And absolve in your fruity aroma

But isn’t it a tragedy

That you're so far away from me in Barcelona

Your lustrous red cheeks and your infinate blue eyes

Stole the attention from the rolling waves and skies

What once was perfect symmetry

Was torn apart so painfully

Now we are so far away

Gone like the sun

After a glorious day

Lost like two birds

That a storm cast astray

The color of you

And the color of me

Made me smile

Made my heart beat

Our laugh was a song

In which we sang so long

And sometimes I do sit and think

Of my girl that rosy pink

I feel so bittersweet

But numb is my passion, which lies in a coma

Till I find my love in Barcelona
