Life may not be what you think.
It's as if we go on forever
but forever trapped in a moment
We are not headed to enlightenment
this time constraint is rather our departure

A dimension clouded with emotions
a reality constructed by order
Our lack of knowing the beginning and end
This is our torment, a punishment if you will

It's as if the full picture is unreachable
but curiosity bridges pain to ignorance
Self medication is to surrender in faith
Ignoring life's constant lessons on eternity

A prime of labor for a perfect end
with an end to regret a wasted prime
So flawed, yet too late to defy conformity
Nothings worse than the knowing of oncoming misery

It all seems to be rigged against happiness
It seems all emotion is here for pain
In the beginning of this, our lives have ended
In the end of this nothing remains

It is amazing how we have all coped
As some of us have done quite well
But the only thing worse than eternity
Is our finite time, here in Hell.
