This is an older poem of mine. I hope everyone enjoys it.
As I sit gazing into the sky,
a single tear forms in my eye,
not of water like dew on grass,
one made up of crystal glass.

I slowly stand upon my feet,
uncertain at the fate I'll meet,
one without my love so true,
one without the presence of you.

I walk through my empty doors,
walking slowly over barren floors,
in the mirror I see what lies,
deep within my empty eyes.

I see a soul that shines so weak,
and the tear upon my cheek,
a reminder of a love so far,
a sparkling, glimmering beautiful scar.

I press it gently against my face,
a translucent mark as smooth as lace,
it gently rolls down my chin,
nay shall I ever cry again.

I watch it fall, this crystal tear,
shattering with my crystal fears.
