not finished
There’s a devil standing outside my door. I hear his heavy breathing like he was panting right in my ear. I feel fright take me over as my heart starts beating like I had just finished running five miles. I felt the sweat on my lower back start to pour out of me like I had just been splashed by a warm salty wave. I could hear him as he walked closer to my door as his long toenails scraped against the floor sounding like a fork being scraped across a porcelain plate. I tired to find somewhere to hide, but there was nowhere to go and he was getting closer to my door.

'He has me trapped.' I thought, as I huddled up in the cold, dirty brown corner.

I felt the tears pour down like a gentle waterfall slowly gliding down my rosy pink chubby cheeks. I tried to be quit by holding my breath, but I knew he could hear my heart beating. That’s when I knew my life would be over in just seconds.

Just as this thought crossed my mind, I heard a loud thump on the door followed by something sharp scraping against the wooden door. It frightened me so much I could swear I felt my heart skip a beat.

All of a sudden the door slug open and slammed against the doorstopper with a loud smack. I instantly closed my eyes excepting my fate. I didn’t want to put up a fight if I knew I would lose. I could hear claws scratching at the floor with each step he took closer to me. Each step he took seemed everlasting like he was moving in slow motion.

As he got to me I could feel his warm, stinky, sticky breath breathing right in my face. I thought instantly of everything and everyone id miss. I’d miss my parents, my friends, the amazing food, and most of all my life. As I was about to say goodbye to the world just as I felt something thick and slobbery slide across an whole side of my face.
