Instructions for Leader in charge of choosing weekly and monthly winners
On Sunday, if possible, look at the Group Scoreboard. The Creditor for that week should have added scores to members, according to the quality of their reviews. They are also supposed to leave a note so that you can see what their average score per review is. This is important because you will want to determine who should be Rainbow Reviewers and who should be the Golden Reviewer.

I try to keep the Rainbow Reviewers down to two per week, unless there's an absolute tie or something. Go by the score, but if it's close you can click on the score and compare the quality of their reviews. Quantity is important, but we do want to keep quality in mind.

The Golden Reviewer should be chosen by the Quality alone. If someone makes a 5-point review they may very well win, even if it's their only review. However, if someone makes several 4-point reviews, that might be a better choice.

If I tell you the goal behind these awards, you will better understand what to look for each week. We started Rainbow Reviewers to reward those who have faithfully reviewed from the Review Board that week. We usually go with the top two scores as long as the average review score is at least 3.

We added the Golden Reviewer later, when we realized that some of our best reviewers never got rewarded because, in giving in-depth reviews, they may not have time for more than a few reviews. So we now reward those whose average review score is at least 4 points. Does that all make sense?

Second Part:
Once you have chosen the winners for the week, you will need to clear the scoreboard for the next week. This is important so the new scores will be only for the new week.

Third Part:
Move the last week's winners to the Memory Lane Page under the Month they belong in. This will help you when it's time to choose the Reviewer of the Month.
Add the new winners to the Garden Page. "The Grammar Garden's Gardeners

Note: If scores are close, we try our best to give out awards to different members each week in order to encourage more members to review. However, we can't lose sight of the importance of EARNING the award.

Fourth Part:
Using the Rainbow Reviewers Image in a e-mail, send each Rainbow Reviewer an e-mail to congratulate them and thank them for spreading joy around Writing.com. Include 5000 GPs with the e-mail as their reward. ((Be sure to reimburse yourself from "Invalid Item.
Then, using the Golden Reviewers Image, do the same thing. Same points and all.

Whew! Are you still with me?

That is it for the weekly awards. The only thing left is the Monthly Reviewer. On the first day of a new month, if possible, look at the Rainbow Reviewers and Golden Reviewers for the previous month and decide who should get the award. (Remember, you have listed them on the Memory Lane page so you can look back over them.)

Now, for this award, you will need to e-mail and ask him to send you the trophy with the new Monthly Reviewer's name on it. As soon as he sends it to you it can be added to the Garden Page. (actually, you may need to forward it to me, unless you would like to keep a folder of SAJ awards, because you will have to download it and upload it to your port in order to place it on the pages (Garden and Memory Lane).

But also send the image straight from Joe to the winners so they can upload it to their own ports to show off their lovely trophies. In addition to their lovely trophy the winner gets a Merit Badge, and a Mingling Melodies Package from "Invalid Item. Remember to reimburse yourself for the Gift Package purchase. With merit badges you are given the option to use SAJ GPs. *Smile*
