We all see the same thing but our perpspective is different from the person beside us.
As I walked down the street I have walked down everyday for the last 12 years,

I actually looked around,

I saw the my favorite shop,

which has all the newest trends,

I saw my favorite restaurant,

which does the best sweet and sour chicken around,

what i did not see was the man covered in cardborad boxes

in a failed attempt for heat in front of the closed down card shop,

I did not see the woman giving the last of her bag of chips to her loyal dog,

he being the only thing in the world that loves her,

of course I did not see these as they do not fit into the world I live in,

When I dropped coins and a note

a man shivering under a shop window got up

and helped me pick up my belongings,

he handed them back with a smile and a 'good day missus',

i gave him the contents of my purse which admitidly was not much

but at the end of the day I had a bed and food everyday to go home to,

when he did not.
