A little something about the endings and beginings
Renewing the cycle

Now I dwell in loneliness, I hear the surface of the water ripple

Looking inside I find emptiness, where did it go

The warmth where my heart lives is now just a glowing ember

One more cold wind or the drop of a single tear could extinguish it forever

I fail to find the strength to care; it is at the end of the cycle

It will either renew or fall away like so many others

A distant drop of water hits the rocks bellow

There is much to be done yet I am unable to move

In front of me, I see a cliff with a drop into the unknown, and

In my past, I leave faded memories colored with love; untouchable behind the museum glass

There is neither return or regret

The seconds on the clock slow to a crawl

Tick.tick..tick…tick….tick………tick………………….tick…………………………tick

I look around to see it all dissolve into the grass around me

The trees seem taller now less like the forest and more like a prison

They are springing up pushing me close to the edge

Like soldiers made of wood

Is it real?

Does it matter?

It still must be lived, or not, it is the only way to keep the clock ticking

I can step off this cliff on my own, be pushed off by the soldiers, or the ground can dissolve beneath me

Either way I am taking this leap

I close my eyes and step off

There is complete silence

The sensation of falling is replaced by a sense of floating

Letting go

Watching my memories and fears pass through my fingers

They play for a moment and fade quickly into the blackness

I feel the doors to my mind and heart creek open

Dust falling away from being ignored for too long

The light from within is blinding

The power from within stuns me….

It causes a stab from somewhere deep within

Could I have forgotten that this is really me?

I replace the floating with flying, traveling using only the compass of silver webs that connects everything
