lost death
Why was it my child that had to be taken away?
Why wasn't she allowed to stay with me for another day?
Why did she have to go?

I was her mummy and couldn't help her fight,
I was the person who told her everything would be all right.
I never imagined I'd have to bury my own.

Her tiny coffin,
Nothing were left to unfold.
No life,
No secrets,
Nothing to say she was mine.
Just maybe the colour of her eyes.

She didn't say my name,
She probabley didn't know who I were.
Watching her fall away were the only thing that I could do... for her.

The nights I spent with her,
Without counting the days,
Left me thinking in a whole different way...

Why was it my child that had to be taken away?
Why wasn't she allowed to stay with me for another day?
Why did she have to go?

And I know...

That I will never know.
