When memories are made

Sharks circled silently beneath her, invisible under the water.

"Quick Janey, in the boat!" her mother screamed.

She leapt and landed with a thud on the sofa.

"We made it!" her mother cried. "Hold on tight, shipmate, there be rough waters ahead!"

Though she didn't realise it yet, these would be Janey's most treasured memories.
