55 Word Contest: My Entry
Till death do us part

My Ivory heels stabbed at the uneven pavement. I faltered not once as I ran, though my gown was without bridesmaids. A final leap of faith landed me in the arms of my one reason for living, but as the cop's final shot penetrated his heart, I surrendered, shouting "I will always love you, Clyde".
