A person's last words to his love
GOOD BYE

Sitting in a corner in my room
I remember you darling in the midst of gloom.
I remember your beauty, I remember your shine
I remember the moments when you were mine.
You were my love and I was your knight
With you beside me everything felt right.
You hugged me, you kissed me, my life was a song
I never guessed darling but something was wrong.
I remember your face and I remember your smile
You used it at me along with your guile.
Yes you tricked me to get what you wanted
Now without you my life feels haunted.
Lonely I am, and I feel enervated
Was this my end darling which you awaited?
You gave me hopes and then you broke my back
You excel in love and you excel this knack.
You ditched me in the middle and you left me to die
Was this necessary? But just tell me why?
Just tell me the reason for making me cry
Now tears don’t sooth me, they have gone dry.
My body is a corpse and my life a waste
This is not a decision I took in haste.
The knife is inside me, where I placed it
Your betrayal was unexpected but yes, I faced it.
It’s tasting my blood, it’s a feast for the knife
Oh! How I saw you as my would be wife.
I know I am dying, I can’t bear the pain
I was not like this your love made me insane.
I made a mistake for which I had to pay
My end had to come and this is the day.
May you live happily this is I pray
I am closing my eyes, one more thing to say
I wanted to live I didn’t want to die
Love you Darling, my last goodbye.
