This is really nice. The start is wonderful. Shocking was the disclosure that more than 40% of domestic violence victims are male. I still can't believe this. I had the notion that only women suffer during domestic violence. Agony and pain of the victim is wonderfully described in marvellous words.
Well this is quite an unusual topic to write on but marvelously written ! And wow what a description ! Tastes of all the chocolates which I have eaten until now came to my mind and I felt eating them. This is what a person would feel exactly when he/she is left alone with a box of chocolates. After reading this I too gifted myself a chocolate ! Well written.

A deadly audience is what someone wants so as not to be criticised or interrupted. It takes away all the fear of being ridiculed . But it also steals the words of praises that might have showered upon us. But I feel you are describing here a silence and a calm which every writer desires so as to give birth to new thoughts hitherto unheard of. Your way of describing is great !
Perfect advice for the youths of today who treat life as a race and speed as the only means to succeed. We have ceased to enjoy the precious moments of life in this rat race. Perhaps this is what you mean when you say

Maybe you just missed a smile.

If only we could understand this, we would be more contented and happy.
To be cared, to be admired , to be loved and thus to be noticed is Human tendency. Invisibility snatches this opportunity rudely and one finds oneself cowering alone . To be a part of something but not to be considered a part is deeply agonizing.
Invisibility of emotions is when you are not understood. You stand there with your soul bleeding, out in the open.
Physical invisibility is when you are ignored. You try to blend, to mix but you find yourself passing through everyone. Gazes seem to penetrate you , they pierce you but not notice you. That's a horrific stage to go through.

Exceptionally beautiful written. Height of imagination in a few words. Each and every line is to be read, admired and preserved for its beauty. At first you defined love as Pheromones. Here you took both the physical and emotional aspects of it. Love makes people involve with each other. Just as like a chemical reaction, new products are created which make life beautiful. Birth of new round of emotions. Generation of a whole new.
Love is also about caring.To share feelings. To understand and to make someone our better half.To tell that whatever happens we would be there . Just as beautiful spots on butterfly wings. They are of bright colour and seem to change when viewed from different angles. They are always there to give their beauty to the butterfly and make it an object of admiration. Whatever view the world may take regarding your loved one, you are always there to support , to make your partner win in every situation. You want your loved one to rise to every occasion. Just as the spots on a butterfly's wings make it look beautiful and different, whatever angle you look from. Thats what love does for you. Beautiful thought yet in such simple and few words.
Love is also about expressing oneself and making one's life better. The expression "Tomorrow's another day" , if I am not wrong, signifies this only. To make present better along with the promise of a lovely tomorrow. Yes , Love is making future lovely so that life seems worth living.
Yes Love surely is what you have beautifully expressed.
