Poem about finding your way
Walking down the street alone, she glares into the darkness of the dusk.
What it was doing to her could only help her in the end.
She needed to feel things that had never been discussed before.
She needed a break from all of that.
She need life, flowing through her like medication that is of another realm.
If she could only explore the truth.
If only the truth was like that smoky grey sidewalk,
flowing underneath her feet, lifting her up, and leading her down the right way.
She knelt down, wanting to graze the earth with her frail hands.
It did not give her truth. It did not give her light. And nothing would.
She would have to find herself.
And that is what she decided to do, as she continued down the path of true illumination...
