The Littlest Tree

Little tree so young and small

Aren’t you going to grow at all

Your branches so skinny not strong

Don’t you know you have a special job

Look at the big trees over there

You will look like them one day

But you have to try little tree

You have to grow for soon you will know

Look at you your growing big and strong

The other trees will not be able to make fun of you

You will be as big as they are

Thank you for doing your best soon you will know the rest

Wow you are big you have come a long way

I told you that you were special and one day

You would know why for you were here

Tonight is a very special night

Christmas Eve is here I am going to cut you down

Bundle you up and take you home

My family and I will put decorations on you

Red and Green and Silver and Gold and Lights so bright

You will be ready for your extraordinary day

But first this night an amazing being comes

Down the chimney with a sack full of games and toys

For Santa Claus will look at you and know why you are here

Another year will come to an end soon

Morning is here and the children run to you

To open their gifts Santa Claus left for them

That is why God put you here to give us joy and cheer
