"When the coast freezes over..."
When the coast freezes over
Tourists flee from their beach cottages
Leaving behind only the cleansing waves
And everchanging high tides
Water front properties become empty shells
No one's home

But soon comes a transition
The shores will defrost
And awaken from its long winter slumber
Beach bodies litter what was a previous ghost town
And the beach is content once again
