The land of the subconcious
My dreams know not the realities of life,
I escape into a world, one without strife
And in them pleasant lands do lie,
And magical people with horses that fly,
And beautiful people who I’ve never met
But also those from my past I regret
Tunnels and trains and buildings and houses
And shops and views from a birds eye’s perspective
I fly and have powers like telekinesis
And come up with wonderful ideas for a thesis
The stories go on for hours and hours
I can smell music and hear beautiful flowers
I travel to lots of faraway places
I go back in time and see future faces
Ancient Egypt and African tribes
I speak to animals and live their lives
I learn lots of lessons and solve some of my problems
Sometimes even mathematic equations
I see people who’ve past and wish them well
Some give advice and stop by for a while
But not for too long, awareness is nigh
And with a bump I’m back in my bed, reality..sigh
