a poem about my thoughts on storms
I long for the darkness that hides my fears
I pray for the rain that covers my tears

The sounds of the thunder drown out my cries
the lightning lifts my spirits as it lights up the sky

as the storm clouds gather they help me to cope
and the rainbow that follow offers some hope
