A poem I wrote to my Daughter.

I have tugged at the sun
and shoved away the moon.

Anything to watch Baby Renae grow.

She.

She is the ten tiny pink toenails that tickle  Oklahoma's crust.
Playing in leaves of fall while they tell her crinkled stories.

Her antique soul, a face that came with a smile.

One more day to watch her grow.

She is the one that made it.
I was the one that failed.

Love always, Dad.
