So it would seem
the years have stored
a book within

Words kept hidden
locked up and feared
shame their cage

Self doubt and loathing
the lock that kept
all held together

So what is the key
that brings freedom?
How did this happen?

Where did this rhythm
come from? Taking over
a beat that is new
