Are you Pimping
There is, in all my seemingly vain babbling, some hidden gems that I would like to explore, in the effort to inform you of this present life’s “bubbles”. Some that burst upon contact, others that are meant to be examined from a distance until their relationship with gravity expires. But some that remain relevant no matter which way the wind blows. And of these I shall choose the one bubble that remains relevant, that proverbial intrusion into the window of falsehood, the question of conditioning ones nature to benefit ones gain, the question of “pimping”. Oh, I can see strain in your features. The way your eyebrow has raised like the harbor bridge. I, my friend, understand your astonishment. You see, although prostitution is one of the oldest occupations in the world, “Pimping” is even older. Pimping has most certainly become interchangeable with prostitution, even somewhat of a interstice into the balance of the two.

For millenniums man’s libido has oft times led him to making decisions that only benefit his own desire and satisfaction.  The conquest of the Garden of Eden by satan opened doors that would eventually lead a man into the bottomless pit of self-gratification. The need to fulfill what seems good to one’s own eye became the paradigm for self. The object to be desired at times became the unattainable in order for need to grow into something of a hunger.

In Adams case, the apple became the prostitute, and satan became the pimp. This by no means is meant to be a mockery unto Christianity, for I myself am part of this phenomenon, but merely to give a place of birth to this certain “bubble”.

The semblance of this can be seen to present day. We see that an individual will desire a certain thing, be it a women, man, or house. The ego says I can’t live without it and the libido says I need it. So we in return for the conquered pay a fund to the interstice, or pimp if you will. Affection must trigger desire past all reasoning, even unto the point that one may commit sacrilege, sacrificing what was valuable until one was “pimped”. Please, if you must, force to entertain the logic that supports this “bubble”.

It is the nature of the pimp to attempt to mask his true purpose. So if he can convince the “john” or consumer that he is nothing more than a purveyor of goods, then he has succeeded in desynthasizing the people. It is also the nature of the pimp to convince the “John” that his moment of satisfaction is worth the effort and risk involved obtaining what it is that forces ones nature to act contrary to ones true wants and needs.

If we may look at the current form of prostitution, the one where a “john” pays the prostitute for a certain service, she has, in fact, gone into business for herself where the middle man doesn’t interfere with present revenue, which in turn makes her a contextual “pimp”. But an even better pimp may attempt to persuade her that there is a reason that she may need his services and that she may share a greater reward if she allowed for him to orchestrate her product. The foundation that perpetuates commerce or any form of capitalism is the axis of today’s market.

On whether pimping  is immoral or not is not the question. Only that, on so many levels, it exist.  It eventually becomes a part of one’s daily routine, so much so that the obvious eludes the john. He no longer thinks but instead develops an insatiable appetite and may risk all that he has to live in that moment once again.

In the natural sense he becomes conditioned to being pleased, meaning that he conforms to the idea of pleasure and all the thorns and thistles it carries in hindsight. His whole world becomes saturated with reliving a thing that can only last but for a moment no matter how repetitive it becomes. Our only concern is the consumption of goods. We reason that as long as they continue to provide the necessary pschycological nurturance that we have become accustomed to,  then all is well. My friend please attempt to stay with me.

The pimp attempts to act as a medium between what we desire. So in comparison, and for the sake of understanding, so do the television and the major corporations. Alas, finally light is shed. The shade is drawn, and we see the connection. Every time we shop, telemarketers harassing calls, and advertising takes the form of a prostitute. Some of the goods and service we see we are told that we can’t live without, that we must have them to become modern, to fit in this present world’s mold of what it is to be financially stable and sound. True they don’t dance around half clad on crowded streets, but the idea to obtaining them (goods and services) is an attractive one.

So then it becomes a case of Macrocosm and Microcosm, that whatever happens on a street corner is, taking place on a larger scale, no matter how big the institution that perpetuates it. It explores metaphysics, in that the pimp creates his own reality and convinces the prostitute that his reality is best for her. The pimping mentality crosses all nationalities and all creeds. It holds historical proportion and has always been relevant. The schematics never falter or waver. In short, the game remains the same, just the player’s change.

It is important to remember this, for it puts you at odds with those who seek to extract some form of revenue from you. They seek to manipulate your world to the point that your reality is there reality. For that is, after all, the true nature of the pimp. So the question, quite naturally,  is at what end are you on? Or, what is your reality. Has it become hostage to the pimp? Are you nothing more than a prostitute or even a john?

This dynamic cannot be something that you just place on the coffee table and come back to later. It isn’t even something that can be placed in your genuine leather bag for safe storage. This has tipped over the table and exceeds the boundary of any bag. It has spread throughout the common veins of the world and history. Everywhere man has gone he has left a trace of his ailment.

One cannot run from, hide, duck, exclude, erase, down talk, laugh away, murder, or even ignore the fact that pimping has always been present. It is always in your face just as your nose is ever-present, though at times you may forget it’s attached to your face. We are affected by many internal forces of this phenomenon.

Our minds are constantly being bombarded as to what we should think, who we should like and where we should go. Pimping applies to a disadvantage by parties involved for goods received and goods delivered. Most of our most thought our opinions of people are not ours at all, but a bevy of ideas paraded in our psych.

Our race to acquire whatever we may has earned us the title of a number one consumer nation in the world. We buy what we don’t need and correlate our success off  of what we have. But the pimp knows that in order to be successful, and then he must convince the prostitute that she needs what he has.

So, are you buying what they are selling?
