This is a poem I wrote about Christmas Morning. I hope you enjoy.
Waking up on Christmas Morning
Walking down the stairs
Into the living room
I see the Christmas tree lit up
A fire going in our fire pit
Gifts around the living
Wondering where my hidden gift is

Family Traditions around Christmas time
Become usual
The biggest gift being hidden
Somewhere in the living room
Never knowing where this gift was
Not being able to find it until
After my family gets our breakfast dinner
Pancakes, bacon, Sausage and eggs
