Just a poem a wrote to match the thoughts in my head.
If the world was soundless, then maybe you would hear me.
I keep trying to say what I’m hiding.
The words come out, but no one hears.

I've done so many things right,
I've done so many things wrong,
I've done so many things to you.
If only you heard what I was saying.

When I am silent you laugh at me,
When I am loud you turn from me,
When I am quiet you never hear me.
You just never stop to listen.

If the word was motionless, then maybe you would see me.
I keep trying to show that I’m crying.
The tears come down, but not one sees.

I’ve tried to laugh,
I’ve tried to sing,
I’ve tried to push the pain away.
If only you would comfort me.

When I frown you think I’m mad,
When I whimper you think I’m in pain,
When I start to cry you ignore me.
You just keep on yelling at me.
