A tale of how someone feels after a loss of a child.
I watch the rain,
As it goes drip, drop
Across my watery face,
I soon remembered that day.

I woke up.
Pillow drenched in tears,
Remembering her beautiful smile,
As I wipe away more tears.

I hide my sadness from him,
As he kisses me gently,
Sensing something wrong with me,
As I move away.

Only remembering her,
I sit and let the tears fall,
Is it worth living anymore?
My life will never be the same.

It was my entire fault,
I should have watched her,
Sensing her pain as the car sped,
Hurting her on its way.

A helmet would have saved her,
I should be to blame.
It was my fault for Sarah’s death,
I am to blame.

I now sit here where her body lay,
Six years ago on that dreadful day,
And I ask myself looking for the answer,
Is it worth living anymore?
