A poem of friendship. I spent my hardest years with him as my bestfriend. I miss him.
Promises Promises

Promises Promises.
I'd do anything for you
but the worst thing i could have ever done is told you.
Prove them wrong
come back to me
I miss you.

Where did you take my dreams?
what ever happened to Mexico?
when did promises stop being promises,
and become lies?
When did you decide i wasn't good enough?
How long have you been playing these games?

I can hear it in your voice,
why do you keep pushing me? Do you want to see how long it can go on?
because id rather be the shit on your shoes,
than not in your life at all.

Promise Promises.
They may not mean anything to you anymore,
but i hang on your every word
just like i always have done.

I never expected you you to keep your promises
or our secrets to last this long
but i never thought you'd drop me
not after everything.

Promises Promises.
Silly little girl.
