inspiration from my best friend who lost his first love because he was afraid to profess.
I dare not mention your name, lest it spills the thrill.
I flatter to gaze deep in your eyes, lest I'm hypnotized by your beauty.
I battle within my heart, an avalanche fiercer than the Versailles.
to suppress my feelings for you, under the ruse of chivalry.
for this is the price i pay, albeit a fortune to my being.
neither blood nor crimson do i shed, but flowings of love.

frightened i get in Mel Gibsonian proportions, laced in awe
what may you say?what will you think? of my inner assertions?
that it is thee i love, and to profess i desire.
the ambiance of your presence, and  grace of your gait
capped with self-esteem, enveloped with bold confidence.
neither blood nor crimson i shed, but flowings of love.

i stare from a distance, i wish in my world.
that my longing be seen, and my yearnings be felt.
to give up i wont, with my bubble of hope.
but the heartbeats at you sight, its existence threaten
i sigh in exasperation, i sigh in hope.
neither blood nor crimson i shed, but flowings of love.

I may never have you, my belle
but i know, yes i do, the cathartic feeling i get
with my pen i poured my heart
my innermost passions,
my secret confessions.

for i am your secret admirer,
and thee i truly cherish.
