What do you do when you are trapped with nowhere to go? Inspired by "Asylum"
The door leaning open
At the end of the long dark hall
That seems never ending, with light
Teasing in the distance

Reset.

A silent empty field, stark yellow against
Black skies, no wind to rustle the grass
Now I’m rushing forward
Off the edge

Reset.

Sitting at the desk with empty
Bookshelves Boarded windows and doors
Off in the distance, beyond the walls
Malicious, hungry barking

Reset.

A vast yellowing field
Wind like wolves rushing through the grass
and now it bursts forward
A colossal livid beast

Reset.

The top of a mountain
Overlooking vast expanses of land
The step off onto nothing
The rushing air; approaching ground

Reset.

Why won’t this end
Darkness is all around
Pinpricks of light scattered
Across a blurred vision

Reset.

Am I forever trapped
Tortured in this darkness?

Reset.
