A sad poem about the remains of a fire.

Ashes to Ashes


When the flames die down,
And the fire fades.
Now's a glowing ember,
What used to blaze.

Once the smoke cleared,
Leaving the sky gray.
Ashes to ashes,
After the smoke fades away.

Ashed scatter the ground,
Leaving burnt remains.
Falling from a dead sky,
Black snow rains.

Your flame still burns,
Try not to breakdown.
Ashes to ashes,
We all die down.
