This is a simple story on how a car ended up on the lawn in a deserted planet.
The car stayed stationary on the lawn. It was the only thing left on the planet. The town was robbed of its liveliness; it was empty. This is a simple story on how a car ended up on the lawn in a deserted planet.

“Water… I need water..”
The boomerang seagull… the destroyed city… the frightening spiral on the ancient sculpture… the steeple tumbling down from the cathedral…
“Water… I need water..”
I wake up to the thirst of my own thought. My lips trembled as I replenished its dryness with limited saliva. Blood trickled, but it felt good. But why was blood trickling from my lips? Why was my throat aching for water? My eyes… The glowing light zoomed in and out of focus as I tried to blink back into sight. I guess my throat wasn’t the only part of my body that needed watering. One thing I knew for sure, I had been sitting down during my unconsciousness; I could feel the cold hard surface seeping through my pants. My body shivered as my senses began to spring back to life. It shivered a second time in recognition of the surrounding temperature. My eyes started to refocus with the textures of the wall in front of me being clearer and clearer, blink by blink. It was dull grey. This was no ordinary wall, it was a cheaply made wall. Just the look of it disgusted me; it was not deliberate that each brick size did not match, it was pure carelessness. The saying, “A picture explains a thousand words” fits perfectly here as long as you change the word “picture” to “colour”. So here I was, staring with a look of disapproval, at the rocky surface of a moon. The brick showed no mercy as I attempted to tame it with my gentle hands. Just as I thought, the feeling was no different to the surface I had been sitting on; cold with a dark unpleasant feel seemed to be the theme of this room. I swerved my neck to capture a glimpse of the surroundings and to my surprise, it was a lot worse than I thought.
