A Kiss Goodbye
I feel the storms a brewing the dark clouds hovering over me. The lightning crashes with ease. It rains slowly and sensual falling lightly on your skin. My emotions I feel reflects in my face and in my heart. Standing in the rain soaked with raindrops and teardrops holding a wet flower you gave me. I drop the flower where I am standing. It feels like my heart breaking when it hits the ground. I look towards the heavens and let the rain wash away the pain. Here I am again drowning my sorrows in the rain for another man. It’s all too familiar to me I tell myself number of times “Not to fall for it again. He will only hurt you again.” I touch my soft face the way he used to touch it. “I’m going to make it. I just know I will.” I said to myself. The rain keeps coming and washing away the emotions that are painful to me. I drop to my knees to the ground where I dropped the flower you gave me. I looked at flower for the longest time. I cry once again because it is the only thing to do. I pick up the flower and kissed it goodbye forever. I got to my feet and walked away from the flower leaving it to sit in the rain.

The End....
