BITTER FRUIT

Share your bitter fruit with me
And I shall eat it with delight.
Let me wrestle with your demons
As you slumber through the night.

Share your bitter fruit with me
Let me sip your wicked wine.
Camouflage your better manner
Let me see your darker mind.

Share your bitter fruit with me
I will free you from your pain.
Let me peel the weathered skin
So only sweetness will remain.
