A poem poking fun at being a bachelor.
DIRTY DISHES

The kitchen sink stinks, piles of dishes
Awaiting visas to the dishwasher.
But the lazy bureaucrat procrastinates,
Comfortably watching television shows.
Yet the aroma alerts the nose,
A pungent reminder that nonchalance
Grows into a festering habit.
Unable to escape it, a man needs a wife
Cleaning up his indolent ways,
Sanitizing his chaotic life.

But no empty headed darling
Comes falling before his knees.
And the television helps him not,
Infecting him with brain rot.
So sits the architect of his pain,
And dirty dishes still remain,
And dirty dishes still remain.
