A ring that was stolen.
My brother had looked everywhere for the heart shaped diamond promise ring he  had brought  his girlfriend for their six month anniversary.  He looked everywhere, he even cleaned his room trying to find the ring and that’s strange for him because his room always looks like ten little kids had a fight with everything in his room. “have you seen it?” he turned to me and asked with a face as straight as a piece of wood slid through the jointer a couple times. “No.” I said with my heart beating a fifty six hundred miles an hour because I knew I had it hidden in my room and it meant a lot to my brother. Plus he spent two of his paychecks on it.

It killed me to lie to my brother but he would be so angry if he knew I had it. I only wanted to look at it and when I did he ran in the room and asked what I was doing. I had to come up with a lie, I couldn’t tell him I wanted to see the ring cause he might say that id try to tell Haley about it as if she knew  something was up and told me to look and see what my brother was getting her.

After my soccer practice I came home to my room destroyed and my brother holding the ring box in his hand. “How did this end up in your room?” He asked in an angry voice. I replied…”THE FAIRIES STOLE IT!” and sat it there!
