I tore away all my good qualities so often it became routine.Yippee for me!
I threw rainbow on the cracks.
I threw up glitter till it became routine.
I looked into the mirror, all I saw was me.

Words of silver are too heavy to leave the tongue.
So acid drips freely. I say what I want to hear.
Whispering compliments in my famila’s ears.

Ignore the water damage on the ceiling. This has
replaced the stars.I forgave the brother who left me
to be immortal. The few and incredibly proud.
My Gemini heart has fallen apart.

I tore away all my good qualities so
often it became routine.Yippee for me!
So smile for me before I leave.Whisper in my ear
the words I need to hear.

“ You don’t need to try anymore.” The first time
in months since my lungs took in enough air.
“ You did your best.” Tears stained my pillows.
“ You can tell me anything.” My throat closed.
