Living on the city's train line...

Chuga Chuga Varoom

"Chug, chuga, chuga,
And the sound shoots forward at a train safe speed.

Some nights, when the train zooms by, every 15 minutes,
I hear it coming from far away.

Then I think it sounds like
An airplane coming.

Only takes some airplanes a short time.

People go by, seated in cars with windows that pass
To quickly to see,
So I pee with an unadorned window,
So the city and I seldon sleep.
Allowing seeking eyes,
But the train goes too fast....

Chuga, chuga, chuga,
Like a Johnny Cash song,
Or perhaps a Bavid Bowie old favorite song.

Trains have transitioned time well.

I'm still transitioning to the train sounds
And the lights, of you people passing in the trains
In and out of town daily.
And I live my life
Watching you whiz by.
