It is about 5 friends undertaking a trip to Pavandong and how the events unfold.
            TRIP TO PAVANDONG

It was a stormy evening. The winds were very strong. It had been raining continuously for the last 4 hours and there seem to be no end in sight….. A group of 5 friends had decided to go to Pavandong for their vacation. They were in  their Land Cruiser , it was stuck in one of the many marshes that were  formed due to the heavy rains.

Sonia, Paul, Vicky, Andy and Nina were all scared to death. They huddled together to get some strength from each other. The rain was slashing on the wind screen with a weird kind of a sound. They remembered how their parents were so much against this trip. To reach  Pavandong one had to go through a very tough terrain of steep mountains. And above all, it was a general belief that the place was haunted and something evil always happened whoever undertook the journey to Pavandong. However, they had  laughed and ridiculed those people who believed in these kind of  baseless stories. But for them it was now a moment of regret!!! They felt helpless. There was no returning!!!! “What are we going to do and what will happen to us” shrieked  Sonia. All of them looked at her with blank eyes, they did not know what was in store!!!

As the darkness  descended, the surroundings became even more scary than before.  Andy switched on the headlights of the car.  It was pitch dark. The beams of the light was falling upto a distance. Suddenly the lights for no rhyme or reason got switched off. However, hard Andy tried to switch them on again it would not come back to life.. They heard a loud thud  outside  and tried to figure out  what it could be….. But other than the rain slashing through their windows, they could not make out anything.

Paul shouted “What’s that guys?”  They all looked in front, they saw a fire burning at a distance. Nina asked “how is it burning in this rain, is this not so weird”. “Shhh.. everything that is happening here is weird, haven’t you noticed  that by now” replied Paul.

“Hey look, what is that”, said Vicky. All  eyes were focussed on the white silhouette that was moving towards them slowly. They tried to switch on the ignition but the car refused … By now the figure was standing right in front of their vehicle. There were no features only the form of a human being and the lower part was that of  a wolf. They started shivering with fright.  In  a fraction of a second their car started to shake violently and it seemed as if they would all die. The next moment the car was turned upside down and they were all screaming and praying to God for help!!!!

It was complete darkness and they all passed out………………….

It was Nina who was the first one to be up.. Startled she looked around. It was a bright morning with birds chirping. Their car was no longer upside down or in the marsh. It was parked in an open space… She had no clue of what was going on. She woke up her friends. They were all relieved to find themselves alive.

Nina said, “But what about last night. I am sure it was not a dream, Who was that figure!! Why did it come to us? Who saved us? How come our car was no longer upside down?” There were so many questions that were asked but there was not an answer to any one of them.

Andy said” it’s okay, we are alive and safe, lets get out of here without any delay”. He tried to switch on the ignition and the car was roaring to life. They were all puzzled!!! He reversed and pressed on the accelerator and sped away.

There were many questions that were unanswered. But one thing was for sure that they will never ever go to

Pavandong again in their lifetime..
